In Bregenz, on the shores of the picturesque Lake Constance (AUT), Doppelmayr’s customer support department recently carried out a very special kind of repair job. The successful replacement of the piston rod of the eleven-meter-long counterweight cylinder demanded the full commitment, experience and passion of the team.

The Pfänder tram takes day-trippers to the top of the local mountain in Bregenz in just 6 minutes – to what is probably the most stunning viewpoint of the Lake Constance region at 1,064 m. The large cabin for 80 passengers offers unique vistas during the trip. The tram operates all year round and is an attraction for international guests.
