The new Doppelmayr/Garaventa training center is a high-quality facility for professional training in ropeway technology.

With the Ropeway Training Center, Doppelmayr/Garaventa has created a new, cutting-edge facility in Dornbirn (AUT) that efficiently combines theory and practice. It offers international guests all the amenities they need and enables instructors to provide expert and practical knowledge in a professional manner. The instructors are experienced engineers and technicians from different areas of expertise within the Doppelmayr/Garaventa Group, customer support employees, operations directors or external experts. Practical exercises play an important role in training courses at Doppelmayr/Garaventa. In addition to the theoretical training in modern training rooms, participants get the chance to practice on real ropeway equipment such as a chair, hydraulic elements, the control system or the tire conveyor. There are also two dedicated seminar rooms for rope grips, which have been specially equipped for practical exercises such as dismantling and reassembling grips.
